NAMI Gather Knitting Club
Join us for NAMI Gather Knitting Club every Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Barnes and Noble Cafe (Starbucks / fireplace area). Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, come knit (or crochet, embroider, etc.) with us, meet new friends, and expand your mental health support circle.

Support Groups
In-Person Support Groups Rolling Out!
NAMI Central Oregon has started a Connection Peer Support Group in Bend and will soon start one in Redmond.
Connection Peer Support Group: In-Person
- 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month at 3 PM
- Open to adults 18 and older who live with a mental health condition
- The Taylor Center, 358 NE Marshall Ave, Bend, OR 97701
Connection Peer Support Group – Online via Zoom
- Mondays, 7-9 PM via Zoom
- Open to adults 18 and older in Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson Counties who live with mental health conditions
- To register for Connection Peer Support Group, email info@namicentraloregon.org. (Requests are screened to ensure those joining are individuals living with mental illness to maintain the privacy and integrity of the online meeting.)
NAMI Central Oregon’s Family Support Groups are currently meeting online via Zoom.

NAMI Central Oregon is looking for facilitators and leaders to offer in-person NAMI signature programs to Central Oregon.
Connection Support Group Facilitator Training
- June 8 & 9 – Schedule
- Connection Support Group Facilitator Training (via Zoom)
- Application (MS Word) / Application (Google form)
- Applicants must attend a NAMI Connection support group prior to the training and have the endorsement of their local NAMI affiliate.
Sharing Your Story with Law Enforcement (SYSLE)
NAMI’s Sharing Your Story with Law Enforcement (SYSLE) training prepares individuals and family members to share their stories of lived experience with mental illness during law enforcement trainings, such as Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training.

Ending the Silence
Ending the Silence
NAMI Ending the Silence is an engaging presentation that helps middle and high-school-aged youth learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms.
Young Adult Presenters
Are you 18-35 and living successfully with a mental health condition? If so, you’d make a perfect Ending the Silence Young Adult presenter.
