Community Education Series: Trauma-Informed Care

Join us as Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor at Deschutes County, presents about mental health, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and Trauma-Informed Care. Topics will include ACEs, the neurobiology of trauma, relationship dynamics, resilience, and practical things each of us can do to move from fear to trust. Our inherent need for love, safety, acceptance, and opportunities to express our goals and dreams will be at the center of Elizabeth’s talk. The presentation will include an experiential group activity and time for questions and conversation.
