Free Community Education Series: Central Oregon Stabilization Center

April 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Did you know that Deschutes County officials are working to create a special facility to help those who suffer from mental health or substance abuse issues? The proposed Stabilization Center is a crucial resource that will allow law enforcement to take somebody in crisis to a safe place to get the help they need. Join us as we learn about the Bend Police Department’s Crisis Response Team (CRT) and the proposed Stabilization Center. We are excited to have a representative from the CRT come talk about who they are, what they do, and how they successfully impact our community in times of crisis. This is your opportunity to learn more about this wonderful asset to Central Oregon. Holly Harris, with Deschutes County Behavioral Health, will also join us to discuss the proposed Stabilization Center.

The meeting is preceded by our Bend Family Support Group, 5:15-6:45 PM. Please join us in support of good mental health in our community. Our meetings are free and open to all.
